Want to get nose-to-nose with some of the most loveable animals in Johnson County?
Check out the animals up for adoption from the HSJC. Since we do not have a shelter to house our animals yet, all of our animals are currently in foster homes. The foster parents would love to be able to place their foster pets into wonderful “forever” homes like yours. So if you are ready to add a new member to your family, please stop by to meet our adoptable animals.

If you do wish to adopt from the Humane Society of Johnson County, you will need to submit an application for adoption to be reviewed. Feel free to go ahead and fill out the application while you begin your search for your new companion.

When you decide to add a new four-legged member to your family, we hope that you decide to adopt from your local humane society. The Humane Society of Johnson County fee to adopt a dog typically range from $150 – $300 and cats are all $125.
All animals are health checked, screened for feline leukemia or heart-worms, spayed/neutered, vaccinated (appropriate for age) and micro-chipped.
