Lost Animal Lost Animal? What to do!
The following steps should assist you in locating your pet: 1. Visit the Johnson County Animal Control Shelter at 1061 Hospital Rd., 2. Sometimes it takes a while for pets to turn up. And once your pet is home again, consider having them microchipped. One of the first things that shelters, humane societies and veterinarians do when they are presented with a “stray” animal is scan it for a microchip. That microchip contains all the information needed to ensure your pet finds it way home.
